01 Using SkyAndTime.com

These Terms of Use govern your use of SkyAndTime.com and its weather, air-quality, world-time, astronomy, calendar, timer, and date-calculator tools. SkyAndTime.com operates from California, United States. “We,” “us,” and “our” refer to SkyAndTime.com.

Please read these terms before using the website. By using the website after having an opportunity to review these terms, you agree to them to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree, please stop using the website.

If you use the website on behalf of an organization, you must have authority to do so. Minors should use the website with a parent or guardian’s guidance and any consent required by applicable law.

02 Information and accuracy

Our tools provide general information and everyday planning assistance. Forecasts, air-quality estimates, astronomical calculations, holiday lists, and other results can be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate. Conditions and source data can change.

• Weather and air quality: model estimates may differ from conditions at your exact location. Air-quality information is not medical advice.
• Sun and Moon: calculated rise, set, and event times depend on location and assumptions. Terrain, buildings, and atmospheric conditions can affect what you observe.
• World time and dates: results depend on selected time zones, device settings, and available time-zone rules. Holiday observance varies by jurisdiction and organization.
• Timers and countdowns: browser suspension, device sleep, volume settings, and lost connectivity can affect displays or alarms. Keep an independent reminder for essential tasks.
• Calculators: verify inputs, inclusion of end dates, weekends, and selected holidays. Results do not determine legal, payroll, tax, or contractual deadlines.

Check the displayed location, units, date, time zone, source, and update time before relying on a result. Independently verify information when an error could have significant consequences.

03 Safety and important decisions

SkyAndTime.com is not an emergency-alert service or a substitute for official warnings, professional advice, or specialized safety equipment. Do not rely on it as your only source for emergency, aviation, marine, medical, or other safety-critical decisions.

For dangerous weather, follow instructions from local authorities and your official meteorological service. In the United States, consult the National Weather Service’s official alerts ↗. Contact local emergency services if you are in immediate danger.

04 Acceptable use

You may use the available tools for lawful personal, educational, or internal business purposes, subject to these terms and any applicable third-party licenses.

You must not:

• Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or nonpublic information.
• Introduce malware, bypass security controls, or disrupt the service.
• Use automated requests in a way that overloads the website or bypasses access restrictions or rate limits.
• Submit spam, threats, unlawful content, or personal information you are not entitled to share.
• Misrepresent your identity, impersonate SkyAndTime.com, or falsely imply our endorsement.
• Remove required attribution or use protected material in violation of applicable rights.

These terms do not restrict activities protected by applicable law or permissions provided by an applicable open-source, open-data, or other license.

Weather data, maps, images, software, and other third-party materials remain subject to their respective licenses. Attribution and source links appear on relevant pages. Any reuse must comply with those licenses. Public-domain material remains in the public domain.

You retain any rights you have in the information you enter. You may use the tools’ intended download and sharing features for your own results, while respecting third-party rights and other people’s privacy.

06 External services and links

The website uses external services for features such as forecasts, city searches, holiday lists, and embedded maps. Their availability, accuracy, and terms are outside our control. A link to another website does not by itself imply endorsement.

Your use of a third-party service may be subject to that provider’s terms and privacy practices. See our Privacy Policy for information about the services currently used and the data involved.

07 Accounts, payments and feature availability

Current core tools do not require a SkyAndTime account. Account registration, paid subscriptions, and payment processing are not currently activated. Account buttons and advertisement spaces may appear as interface previews or placeholders.

If paid features are introduced, pricing, billing frequency, renewal, cancellation, and refund terms will be presented before purchase. Our Cancellation & Refund Policy explains cancellation, access through the paid term, generally non-refundable payments, billing-error reviews, and applicable legal rights. These terms alone do not authorize a charge or enroll you in a subscription.

Some preferences are stored only in your browser. Clearing browser data or changing devices can remove those preferences. Save exported results separately if you need to keep them.

08 Service changes and access

We may update, change, or discontinue features, correct errors, or temporarily interrupt the website for maintenance or other operational reasons. We do not promise uninterrupted access or that every feature will remain available indefinitely.

We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address abuse, security risks, violations of these terms, or legal requirements. Any action remains subject to applicable law and any separate commitments made to you.

09 Disclaimers and limits

To the extent permitted by law, the website and its information are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, completeness, uninterrupted availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Use your judgment and verify important results.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, SkyAndTime.com is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of, or inability to use, the website, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption.

These provisions do not exclude or limit liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, unlawful conduct, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. They do not waive mandatory consumer rights or remedies. If a limitation is not permitted where you live, it applies only to the extent legally allowed.

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. A failure to enforce a provision on one occasion does not automatically waive it on another.
